This is my response to the misogyny and abuse I experienced from men as an emerging woman within daily encounters in passing as well as within intimate interpersonal dynamics.
I present myself as a contrived embodiment of modesty and order, passive to the intrusions upon my flesh and upon my emotional display, almost puppet like.
Somewhere between submission and rebellion, I am dancing with the role that was created for me by men long before I was born, fetishizing my own trauma.
