Amendment publishes art and literature of any medium on the topics of joy, resistance, and dreams of a better future. We specifically accept socially-progressive and liberatory pieces from VCU students. Works should touch on topics of race, class, gender, sexuality, disability, ethnicity, power, justice, or other social issues.
Submitted works will be considered for publication in our annual anthology and our website and may, with permission, be posted on our social media. We select an Art Award, Literature Award, Cover Artist and Featured Contributor from each journal to receive cash prizes.
