Marriage Equality Celebration
at the Byrd Theater (June 2015)

Hundreds gathered at Carytown’s Byrd Theatre  to celebrate the Supreme Court ruling in favor of same-sex marriages nationwide. They joined hundreds of events around the country as part of the national #DayofDecision.

The Supreme Court of the United States ruled in favor of same-sex marriage, in a 5 – 4 ruling. The Supreme Court held that the 14th amendment requires states to recognize same-sex marriage in all 50 states.
